Uva COOP Wasantha Udawa 2025

The much-anticipated Uva COOP Wasantha Udawa 2025 will take place on April 24th, from 9:00 AM onwards, at the Monaragala Pradeshiya Sabha Grounds. This vibrant celebration promises a full day of enjoyment, cultural tradition, and community spirit.

The event will feature a variety of traditional Avurudu games and activities, including Breaking of the Lucky Pot, Pin the Eye on the Elephant, and the selection of the COOP Avurudu Prince and Princess. Participants and visitors can look forward to a day filled with laughter, friendly competition, and festive cheer.

This celebration is organized with the participation of all cooperative societies in the Monaragala District, under the guidance and supervision of the Assistant Commissioner of Cooperative Development – Monaragala, and is based on a concept proposed by the Uva Provincial Commissioner of Cooperative Development and Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

The primary goal of the Uva COOP Wasantha Udawa is to strengthen mutual friendship and cooperation among the cooperative societies of the Uva-Wellassa region.

The event is made possible through the kind support of: CRB Wellawaya, CRB Buttala, CRB Monaragala, MPCS Buttala, MPCS Monaragala, MPCS Wellawaya, and MPCS Siyambalanduwa.
